Naomi is already up

I just spent a few minutes with Naomi and Dave. Naomi looks great though struggling to stay awake from her meds. And for all of you who are concerned about her getting up and out of bed--I got kicked out by the physical therapist who showed up to do just that. As I write this, she is taking her first steps on her new knee. Is she wonder woman or what?!?!?

That is so great, that is the best thing she could do, and use that CPM machine for around 6 hours a day. I found that to be the best therapy and I have had nothing but success with my right knee. My left knee is a little worse than my right, but it was also just replaced a year and a half ago, but it's sturdy and working great too. Naomi is an amazing woman, and I know that this is going to be new Naomi, shopping should be so much easier on her now!

Another update,

Lori C just called me and she told me that Noami is a little drugged but she is doing great. I am so happy to hear it. Good going, Naomi, what a great person she is, and she is so beautiful, inside and out. I can't wait to see her again with her new knee, maybe she will be taller.. Hugs 2 all, Diane

She is doing GREAT, and I love her little recliner chair thing... Dave said they might have to steal it, LOL...

She was OUT, though, kept apologizing, but then would knock out again... no worries...dave and I are big readers and we were talking books!

Amazing how quickly we can be up walking after things like this.. a-ma-zing!
